ClassLink Partnership for SIS Integration with K12 Insight

ClassLink partnership helps school districts save time and deliver personalized customer service through Let’s Talk.

K12 Insight is partnering with ClassLink to help school staff more easily and efficiently provide personalized customer service for families through student information system (SIS) integration in Let’s Talk

Through SIS integration, school districts can choose the data they want populated into Let’s Talk — such as parent or student names, school, and home address — to create more personalized customer profiles. This eliminates the need for school staff members to switch between Let’s Talk and other platforms to access SIS information when delivering customer service.

“Our mission at K12 Insight is to help school districts provide superior experiences to their communities, which is why SIS integration in Let’s Talk is a game-changer for delivering personalized customer service,” said Krista Coleman, Chief Customer Officer at K12 Insight. “Our district partners who have taken advantage of SIS integration are not only saving time, they are providing a personalized experience from the very moment a parent reaches out through Let’s Talk.”

SIS integration with Let’s Talk makes it easy for school districts to:

  • Add additional parent/guardian and student information across all topics in Let’s Talk
  • Support transportation by including additional address, route, and classification information
  • Communicate IT-related information such as device type, asset tag, worksite information for staff
  • Add additional staff information for human resources

For school districts without ClassLink, K12 Insight can bring SIS data into Let’s Talk through SFTP integration.
