Read this resource ahead of our kick-off meeting to know what to expect and prepare for a successful Onflo implementation. Our team at K12 Insight is here to help you get up and running with Let\u2019s Talk in three months or less!<\/span><\/p><h3><b>1. Build your team of Onflo champions.\u00a0<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A successful Onflo implementation requires the right team of leaders. We\u2019ve helped hundreds of districts across the nation roll out Onflo, and through our experience, we\u2019ve found the most successful implementation teams include the following roles:\u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>The Executive Sponsor:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This role sets the vision for Onflo and connects it with the district\u2019s strategic initiatives.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>The Project Manager:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> For a successful implementation, every team needs a project manager. This role serves as the primary point of contact for K12 Insight and coordinates Onflo implementation tasks.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>The Communications Champion:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The Communications Champion reviews communications materials provided by K12 Insight and creates a communication calendar for ongoing promotion of Onflo throughout the district.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>The Technology Champion:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> IT is an important role for a smooth Onflo implementation. This champion ensures Onflo access points are properly embedded on the website and coordinates the necessary technology integrations.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h3><b>2. Follow project management best practices.\u00a0<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Project management is essential for keeping track of milestones and deadlines.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Follow these best practices:<\/span><\/p><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Review <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/21226021.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net\/hubfs\/21226021\/2023%20Content%20Map\/23-Q2_Lets%20Talk%20Implementation%20Timeline.pdf\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Onflo Implementation Timeline<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and set target \u201cgo-live\u201d dates.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coordinate pre- and post-launch activities (trainings, check-ins, etc.).<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monitor and track progress toward completing each phase of the <a href=\"https:\/\/21226021.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net\/hubfs\/21226021\/2023%20Content%20Map\/Let%E2%80%99s%20Talk%20Product%20Maturity%20Model.pdf\" rel=\"noopener\">Onflo Product Maturity Model<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before the beginning of each school year, prepare for account maintenance and ensure account configuration is up to date.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Identify opportunities for departments districtwide to adopt Onflo such as human resources, transportation and others, and set timelines for adoption.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ol><h3><strong>3. Promote Onflo through internal communications.<\/strong><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To ensure a successful implementation of Onflo districtwide, actively share your district's vision and purpose for using Onflo with all users.<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Communicate about key features and new releases to staff, administrators, and department leaders.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Share opportunities for new user training and refresher training options to new and existing district employees.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Report key performance indicators and metrics from the implementation to district stakeholders and\/or board members.<\/span><\/li><li>Explore our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/resources\/\">Onflo Communications Toolkit<\/a> for resources and content for promoting Onflo.<\/li><\/ul><h3><b>4. Leverage K12 Insight\u2019s Client Success team.<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Think of K12 Insight as an extension of your team. Your dedicated Client Success Manager is here as a trusted advisor and thought partner throughout your entire Onflo journey.<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set a regular check-in cadence with your K12 Insight Team. This could be quarterly, monthly, bi-weekly, etc.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participate in two annual meetings with K12 Insight:<\/span><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Executive Business Review (Fall)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: This meeting should be attended by key district stakeholders including cabinet members. It will review the impact of the prior year\u2019s Onflo implementation and set goals for the upcoming school year.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Account Planning Call (Spring)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: This meeting should include your district\u2019s Onflo champions.
