This will bring you to the Article Editor view<ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">If the desired section does not yet exist, simply type in the text box and click \u201cAdd new section\u201d to create a new one. (sections can be edited later, if needed)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4891 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/assign-topic.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"338\" height=\"351\" \/><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Expand the Assign Topic drop-down menu, and select the corresponding\u00a0 Topic(s).<ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i>Assigning Topic(s) to articles is optional, but highly recommended. Doing so will link them, and allow customers to be brought to the ticket form (via the contact button) if their question was not effectively answered by the information in the article.<\/i><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Adding Article Content<\/strong><\/h4><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add a descriptive title for your article in the <\/span><b>Article Title<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> field<br \/><\/span><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>Add Block<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to reveal a menu for adding text, headings, images, and videos<\/span><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Text content can be customized with a range of formatting options<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Headings help to guide the reader through your article. Use a combination of H1 and H2 to organize information.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Images can be uploaded from your computer and edited upon double-click. Permitted file types include: .jpeg, .jpg, .tif, .png, .gif, .bmp, .tiff<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Videos can be uploaded via file, URL, or embed code. Permitted file types include: .wma, .wv, .mkv, .flv, .avi, .wmv, .mp4, .mpg, .3gp<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><b>Copy\/Delete<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a block at any time by hovering over the vertical ellipsis button of the corresponding block on the far right side of the screen.<br \/><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><li><b>Move a block<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by\u00a0 hovering over the vertical ellipsis button of the corresponding block on the far right side of the screen and dragging the block to your preferred position.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Assigning Article Managers, Tags, and FAQs<\/strong><\/h4><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Options for assigning Article Managers, adding Tags, and linking FAQs can be found at the bottom right of the Article Editor Page\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4892 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/kb.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"389\" height=\"112\" \/><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>Assign Article Manager <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and select the desired users. Article Managers have editing access to articles and are responsible for keeping content up-to-date. Each article can have an unlimited number of article managers<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Next, choose <\/span><b>Tags<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the article. These Tags will automatically get applied to tickets submitted from the article page.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>LT! Assistant! FAQ <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">button will reveal the full list of FAQs active in the account. When the chatbot provides an answer to the selected question(s), it will also include a link to the current article.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h3>Article Visibility and Sharing<\/h3><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4893 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"218\" height=\"104\" \/><\/p><p><b>Public<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Article is posted\/embedded on your website, and any customer can view it<\/span><\/p><p><b>Internal Users<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Article can be used as a reference document by Onflo users<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the <\/span><b>Share<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> button at the bottom right of the Article Editor view to share an article via URL, email, or embed code<\/span><\/p><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Note: You can embed or share <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sections of articles<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or the <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">entire knowledge base<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the Article Manager view<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once complete, you have the option to preview, publish or save your article as a draft at the top right of the page.<\/span><\/p><h2><strong>Editing Existing Articles<\/strong><\/h2><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go to Settings, then select Knowledge Base under the Communications section in the left panel.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on an article to launch the <\/span><b>Article Editor <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">view<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Edit the content of any block by clicking into it<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When finished, click on <strong>Preview, Publish<\/strong>, or<strong> Save Draft<\/strong> in the top right corner<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Onflo's (formerly Let\u2019s Talk) Knowledge Base makes it easy for customers to find information, without having to ask your team for help.
