This data can be made available across all topics within Onflo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><h4><b>Save staff time<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h4><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By putting SIS data directly into Onflo, school staff members save time previously spent switching between Onflo and other platforms. This way, your staff has all necessary information in one place and can better focus on assisting each customer with their needs. When working within a ticket in Onflo, your staff can simply click on the\u00a0<strong>Customer\u00a0<\/strong>tab within the customer section of the ticket, and this will display information shared within your SIS integration.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-15195 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Screenshot-2025-11-11-113943-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" height=\"737\" \/><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0SIS Integrations can include the following:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><strong>Parent Names &amp; Contact Information<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Student Names<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Student Information<\/strong><ul><li><strong>Student ID Number<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>School ID Number<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Campus Site<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Student Email\u00a0<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><h4><b>Adapt to Department\u00a0<\/b><\/h4><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SIS integration with Onflo helps your district improve customer service across different departments in your district, including:\u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Transportation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> - Include addresses, routes, and classifications\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Technology<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> - Add device types, asset tags, work sites (for staff), and other relevant information<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Human Resources<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> - Populate staff information, such as contact information and emergency contacts<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h2><strong>How to Implement<\/strong><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have two options for this integration:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Option 1:<\/strong> Through a partnership with ClassLink, we can integrate via APIs. You will be able to add Onflo as a Roster Server Application in order to share the elected data in a OneRoster format.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>Important note: <\/b>We\u00a0use parent contact information as the unique identifier for SIS integration. If parent\/guardian data is not currently in your ClassLink setup, you will need to leverage Option 2.<\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Option 2:<\/strong> If you use a different SIS provider (PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Skyward, etc.), we will provide SFTP credentials for you to share the data on a regular sync cadence.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h2>Considerations for SIS Integrations<\/h2><ul><li>The customer profile is <strong>our own data<\/strong>, and if a call comes in and the customer profile is blank, we will do a one-time copy of the SIS data into the customer profile.<\/li><li>\u00a0The customer section will always display the latest SIS information.<\/li><li>The customer profile will not automatically update if there's already data there.<strong> It needs to be manually updated<\/strong>.<\/li><li>\u00a0Information updated in our system (such as the customer profile) is not pushed to the SIS.
