However, some school district websites may have security settings that unintentionally prevent this process from working correctly. If you're experiencing errors when trying to scan webpages, your website may be blocking our system.<\/span><\/p><h2><b>Why Does This Happen?<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many school district websites have security measures in place to protect against bots and automated scanning. While these measures are important for cybersecurity, they may also block helpful tools like Onflo (formerly Let's Talk!) from accessing and using your website's content.<\/span><\/p><h2><b>How to Fix It<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To ensure Chatbot can scan and pull relevant information from your website, your district's IT team should allow access to the following IP addresses:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>52.226.152.64<\/b><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>52.226.152.65<\/b><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>52.152.191.192<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, we have some IP addresses we use for testing purposes. While these aren\u2019t necessary to provide access to, it would be to do so to ensure the continued improvement of the product:<\/span><\/p><ul><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>38.73.236.38<\/b><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>38.73.236.4<\/b><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>38.73.236.11<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This process, often called \"whitelisting\" or \"allowing access,\" ensures that Chatbot can read the content on your website without compromising security.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Note:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This is different from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/how-to-articles\/whitelisting\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the whitelisting<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> your team has completed for the Onflo web and mail servers. While that whitelisting occurs on your network firewalls, these IP addresses need to be whitelisted wherever your website\u2019s security measures are managed.<\/span><\/p><h2><b>Next Steps<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you encounter errors when scanning a webpage, contact your IT team and share these IP addresses with them. They can adjust security settings to allow the Resource Center to scan the website properly.
