Make it easy for everyone in your community to ask questions and share feedback with you by activating multiple languages.\u00a0 The Onflo translation feature combines the power of human translators with auto-translation to help you provide exceptional experiences for all stakeholders.<\/span><\/p><h2><b>Supported Languages<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Out of the box, Onflo supports the following languages:\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b><i>Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), French, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Polish, Russian, Somali*, Spanish, Ukrainian, Urdu, and Vietnamese.<\/i><\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These languages are available to be used in tickets, added in ticket forms, and used for the Onflo Chatbot.<\/span><\/p><h2>Additional Languages<\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If another language is important in your community, we have some additional options:<\/span><\/p><h4><strong>For Languages Supported by Bing Translate<\/strong><\/h4><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the language you wish to enable is <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/13CKmKyH0RoJP4kGo0VKpdgh_KzBo-ioZO9hlldtjAKI\/edit?usp=sharing\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">supported by Bing<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (see languages with a checkmark in the \u201cSupported by Bing\u201d column), we can turn it on in your account. You will need to provide translations for the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1YMkN0XO8XpCZYEnJY3wz_NfB6X_YaqDi\/edit?usp=sharing&amp;ouid=101335245450556625910&amp;rtpof=true&amp;sd=true\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">standard text items<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Onflo.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can take advantage of translations provided by other organizations in the following languages, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">or provide your own<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><b><i>Burmese, Filipino, Haitian Creole, Hmong Daw, Nepali, Pashto, Portuguese, and Swahili<\/i><\/b><\/p><h4>For Languages not supported by Bing<\/h4><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Similarly, we are happy to enable these languages in your account. We\u2019ll ask that you provide translations for the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1YMkN0XO8XpCZYEnJY3wz_NfB6X_YaqDi\/edit?usp=sharing&amp;ouid=101335245450556625910&amp;rtpof=true&amp;sd=true\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">standard text items<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Onflo - however, please note that you will not be able to take advantage of auto-translation functions.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can take advantage of translations provided by other organizations in the following languages, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">or provide your own<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><b><i>Amharic, Dari, Kinyarwanda, Punjabi, and Tagalog<\/i><\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To add additional languages, please contact your Client Success Manager, or reach out to Support via the \u201cNeed Help?\u201d button to get connected with the right team member to assist you.<\/span><\/p><h2>Onflo Chatbot Language Support<\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Onflo Chatbot categorizes languages as either high support, basic support, or no support. High support languages are those which our system is confident in being able to provide quality translations. Basic support languages are those which we can provide translations that are functional, but not of the highest quality.\u00a0 Unsupported languages are those which we do not currently feel provide high enough translations, and therefore we do not allow them to be added.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All default languages in Onflo are supported by Onflo Chatbot (high or basic support). Additionally, most custom languages are also supported. For a list of supported languages in Chatbot <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/13CKmKyH0RoJP4kGo0VKpdgh_KzBo-ioZO9hlldtjAKI\/edit?usp=sharing\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">click here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (see Onflo Chatbot Support column).<\/span><\/p><h2>Define a Dedicated Translator<\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To add a language, you will first need to add a Translator. These translators will have two roles: Set-up and Ticket Support.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Set-up: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They will translate standard Categories and Topics, as well as non-standard form messages in Onflo.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Ticket Support:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> When a Ticket is received in the translator's designated language(s), they will be notified via email and are added to the Ticket in order to improve or refine the automatic translation of the Customer\u2019s feedback.<\/span><\/p><h4>Add a Translator<\/h4><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go to Settings, then select Languages located under the Account Setup section of the left panel.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select the desired language from the drop-down menu in the Language column.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the Translator column, select an existing User who will serve as the Translator for all Tickets received in this language.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Repeat these steps to activate additional languages or to assign additional Users as Translators for the previously selected language.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Save your changes by selecting the Save button found in the top right-hand corner of the page.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><h4>Remove a Translator<\/h4><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go to Settings, then select Languages located under the Account Setup section of the left panel.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the X to the right of any Translator to remove them.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Save your changes by selecting the Save button found in the top right-hand corner of the page.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><h2>Translate Content<\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now that you\u2019ve added the languages and assigned translators, you should now begin the process of translating the various messages that the Customers will read. These include the Landing Page welcome message, the categories and topics, any form of introduction messages, and alerts.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Content translations can be added by System Administrators or by Translators.<\/span><\/p><h4>Translate Categories and Topics<\/h4><p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15707\" src=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Screenshot-2026-01-15-170544.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1873\" height=\"634\" \/><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go to <strong>Settings<\/strong>, then select <strong>Topics Manager<\/strong> under the Account Setup section of the left panel.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select Translate at the top of the screen.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Choose the language in which you want to translate from the \u201cSelect Language\u201d drop-down menu on the top bar.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All\u00a0 Categories and Topics within the account are shown on the page, along with their translations.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can save it as a Draft or Publish it in the bottom left corner of the page.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><h4><strong>Translate Landing Pages and Account Default Form Messages<\/strong><\/h4><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15709\" src=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Screenshot-2026-01-15-170855-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1912\" height=\"757\" \/><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the <strong>Settings<\/strong> panel, select <strong>Landing Page\/Tab Editor<\/strong> (listed under Account Setup).<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select a Landing Page from the drop-down menu.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select Landing Page as the choice and then select the page and language in which you are translating for.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Translation for messages for the Landing Page will appear with the original message in English shown below.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click \u201cCopy translation to another Landing page\u201d located below the search bar to copy the same translated form messages to multiple landing pages\/Topics<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Save your changes by selecting the Save button found in the top right-hand corner of the page.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><h4><strong>Translate Form Messages<\/strong><\/h4><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15710\" src=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Screenshot-2026-01-15-171725.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1918\" height=\"747\" \/><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the Settings panel, select Forms (listed under Account Setup).<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select Translate at the top of the screen.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select the form from the drop-down menu.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Choose the Language in which you want to translate from the \u201cSelect Language\u201d drop-down menu.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Review the translations and save them as a draft or Publish them below.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><h4><strong>Translating Selected Content within Form<\/strong><\/h4><p>Whether you need to translate select questions within a form (ex. individual questions), or all questions, you can select specific content to translate on the form<\/p><ol><li>Click on\u00a0<strong>Settings,\u00a0<\/strong>then select\u00a0<strong>Forms<\/strong><\/li><li>Select the\u00a0<strong>Translate\u00a0<\/strong>tab<\/li><li>Select the form from the\u00a0<strong>Select Form for Translation\u00a0<\/strong>drop-down menu<\/li><li>Select the\u00a0<strong>Language\u00a0<\/strong>from the drop-down menu you want the content to be translated to<\/li><li>Click the checkbox next to each question you would like translated, or\u00a0<strong>Select All\u00a0<\/strong>to translate all questions on the form<\/li><li>Click the\u00a0<strong>Auto Translate Selected\u00a0<\/strong>button and this will translate the content selected<\/li><li>Select\u00a0<strong>Save Progress\u00a0<\/strong>if you need to exit and finish editing the form later, or\u00a0<strong>Publish\u00a0<\/strong>to complete editing the form<\/li><\/ol><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14161\" src=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/GIF-Recording-2025-10-07-at-4.41.08-PM.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1912\" height=\"864\" \/><\/p><h4><strong>Translate Success Messages<\/strong><\/h4><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the Settings panel, select Success Messages (listed under Account Setup).<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select Translation at the top of the screen. Here you can translate confirmation and thank you messages.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select the Message Title drop-down menu to choose your message to translate.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you do not see a message within the English text box for the message you selected, you will need to create this message first within the Topics Manager.<\/span><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Create an Introduction Message that shows up at the top of a Topic page by typing in the translated text. Click \u201cCopy translation to another Topic\u201d to select which other Topics you want to apply this to.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you do see a message within the English text box, select the translated language from the Select Language drop-down menu.
