Follow these steps to ensure your landing page is set up for success.<\/span><\/p><h2><b>Step 1: <\/b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/getting-started\/add-and-manage-users\/\"><b>Add Users<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before creating topics, ensure your users are active in the system:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>For SSO-enabled districts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Submit a ticket via the (?) icon to the support team with a list of user emails to activate accounts. Your Client Success Manager (CSM) or Implementation Manager can assist with this process.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>For districts without SSO<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Send email notifications to users so they can create passwords and activate their accounts.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/getting-started\/user-roles\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Refer to more information about User Roles here.<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/li><\/ul><h2><b>Step 2: <\/b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/how-to-articles\/topics-manager\/\"><b>Create a Category<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Categories organize topics into manageable groups by department, school, or another logical structure. This grouping makes navigation and management easier.<\/span><\/p><h2><b>Step 3: <\/b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/how-to-articles\/topics-manager\/\"><b>Create a Topic<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To create topics that function effectively:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Assign an Owner<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Every topic must have an assigned owner.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Add Team Members<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Include at least one additional team member to ensure tickets don\u2019t sit idle in one person\u2019s inbox.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Customize the Topic Introduction<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Add text, images, or links to display at the top of the form when someone selects the topic.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Add to Landing Page<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: If a landing page already exists, link the topic to it and set up success messages.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h2><b>Step 4: Translate Topics and Introductions<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To make topics accessible in multiple languages:<\/span><\/p><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go to <\/span><b>Topics Manager<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and click the <\/span><b>Translate<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tab.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select a language to translate into.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use the <\/span><b>Auto-Translate<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tool or manually enter translations for each topic and introduction.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Note: Auto-translation will override any manual translations already entered.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><h2><b>Step 5: <\/b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/how-to-articles\/success-messages\/\"><b>Set Up Success Messages<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Success messages are auto-replies sent to customers when they submit a ticket.<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New topics default to a standard success message, but you can create custom messages to personalize responses.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h2><b>Step 6: Translate Success Messages<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To translate custom success messages:<\/span><\/p><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go to <\/span><b>Settings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and click the <\/span><b>Translations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tab under Success Messages.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Translate each message (confirmation message, thank-you email, etc.) individually using auto-translate or manual translation.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><h2><b>Step 7: <\/b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/how-to-articles\/how-to-create-landing-pages\/\"><b>Create a Landing Page<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Build a landing page to host your topics and categories:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Only topics with active owners will appear as options for the landing page.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.k12insight.com\/kc\/how-to-articles\/how-to-create-landing-pages\/\"><span aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open the <\/span><b>Landing Page Editor<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and click the <\/span><b>Translate<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tab.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select the landing page and language for translation.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go through all tabs to ensure the entire page is translated.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use the preview tool to verify translations are displaying correctly.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><h2><b>Step 9: <\/b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a FAB.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>For individual topics<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Download a .xls file from the <\/span><b>Download<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tab to access embed codes and direct links for specific topics.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a
