The objective of the Multilingual and Multicultural Education Department is to support emerging bilingual students in accessing grade-level academic content through language development while maintaining the same high expectations of the general education curriculum. In School District U-46, bilingualism, biliteracy and multiculturalism are valued outcomes for serving our EL population.
