Austin ISD’s eWellness Program is dedicated to the total wellbeing of all AISD employees. Participation in the wellness program will encourage—and reward—lifestyle changes, behavior modifications and improvements in overall health and well-being.
Key components of the eWellness Program include:
  • $100 wellness premium credit reward
  • Annual biometric screenings
  • Health Risk Assessment—Log in through Aetna and click "Take My Health Assessment."
  • RediMD telemedicine program
  • On-site emotional, financial and nutritional wellbeing classes 
  • Health and wellness discounts (gyms, local races, wellness services, etc.)
  • Revive Employee Assistance Program—Free counseling, legal and financial services
  • Healthy Teacher Program hosted by Whole Foods—Free two-hour staff professional development and cooking demonstration

Emotional Wellness
While some workplace stress is normal, excessive stress can interfere with productivity and performance and affect physical and emotional health. Often, our ability to deal with stress can mean the difference between success or a breakdown in any kind of work. Work-life balance is important. There are some great resources through Aetna, Seton and our Employee Assistance Program to help with stress management.Physical Wellness
Using one of our approved wellness vendors we can work with the interest of the employees to start an on-site boot camp, yoga or zumba class. Wellness Coordinator Stephanie Hawkins is also available to help start an employee walking group. Our approved vendors also offer discounts to their gyms, such as LA Fitness, 24-Hour Fitness and others.
