For fully vaccinated employees, who test positive for COVID, Cabell County Schools will excuse up to five (5) calendar days from the onset of symptoms to not count against them for the attendance incentive. These days still need reported in the Cabell Schools employee attendance system. The CDC and WVDHHR provide guidance that individuals may return to work after day five if symptoms improve and a mask is utilized.
Absences incurred during those five days will not be factored in when determining the attendance bonus for any fully vaccinated employees.
