Together Spokane
In November of 2025, voters approved separate but aligned ballot measures proposed by Spokane Public Schools (SPS) and Spokane Parks and Recreation (Parks) that will improve schools, parks and neighborhoods, called Together Spokane. This joint initiative includes more than 200 proposed projects funded by a $200 million school bond and a $240 million parks levy.
Passage of these initiatives means we will achieve more together than separately. Collaborative projects include:
- Replace Madison Elementary School and include a public recreation center within it.
- Rebuild Adams Elementary School with the Boys and Girls Club pledging support for a joint venture within the school.
- Build an all-weather, lighted field in each high school feeder pattern boundary.
- Partner with Spokane Community College (SCC) to refurbish its indoor aquatics center for public use.
- Open a new, full-time SPS Trades High School on campus at SCC for grades 9-12 where students can graduate with both a high school diploma and a two-year technical degree.
