Thank you for contacting the Austin ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) department! Our mission is To provide students with the opportunities to acquire 21st century academic and technical skills needed for entry into the global workforce and/or post-secondary education in order to become contributing members of the community. In Austin ISD there are 80 unique Programs of Study offered across 13 of the national Career Clusters. Our role within AISD is to provide direction and support for CTE teachers as they work with AISD CTE students to carryout our mission .
