Students in grades 9-12 with single-semester courses who earn a grade below 70 for the semester will not receive credit for the course. Q:How many days out of the year can students miss?

A:To receive credit or a final grade in a class, a student must attend at least 90% of the days a class is offered. These days include both excused and unexcused absences. A student who is in attendance for at least 75%, but fewer than 90%, of the days a class is offered may have credit restored or earn a final grade if the student completes a plan approved by the principal that provides for the student to meet the instructional requirement of the class. If a student attends fewer than 75% of the days a class is offered or has not completed the plan approved by the principal, the student will be referred to the attendance review committee to determine whether there are extenuating circumstances for the absences and how the student can regain credit or a final grade, if appropriate. A recommendation may be made by the principal or designee to the school attendance review committee to deny the student credit or a final grade for that class.

Q:How do i appeal an expulsion?

Students in grades 9-12 with single-semester courses who earn a grade below 70 for the semester will not receive credit for the course. Q: How many days out of the year can students miss?

A: To receive credit or a final grade in a class, a student must attend at least 90% of the days a class is offered.
