K12 Insight partners with organizations dedicated to quality public education. With our partners, we have conducted a variety of studies, such as the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents' membership survey, which built a profile of its membership, thereby providing insight into the Massachusetts superintendency.
In 2011, we partnered with the National School Public Relations Association to conduct a communication preference survey of 43,410 parents and residents in 50 school districts across 22 states. The survey asked participants about content, delivery methods and frequency of communication from their schools. A key finding was the overall preference for communication via electronic/internet sources, such as e-mail, district websites and parent portals.
