DIY

The DIY approach is offered to districts that are managing project implementation by themselves but still require our expertise and technology.

This entry-level offering is designed to address the following issues and concerns:

  • Design of questionnaires. Inviting public input without providing the right context is unfair to the issues under consideration, so we help districts design questionnaires such that they facilitate authentic two-way dialogue. Our questionnaires are designed to capture the public’s input which, ultimately, grows stakeholder trust.
  • Comprehensive data collection. Stakeholder engagement is inherently tied to every stakeholder reaching the decision-makers, so every member of the particular stakeholder group that is invited should have an opportunity to speak. In order to give every voice a chance to be heard, surveys must be conducted more from a census approach than a sample survey approach.

The K12 Insight DIY approach is frequently implemented as a district first begins its strategic communication initiatives and is exploring the necessary resources to embrace a more comprehensive solution.
