The Richmond County School System proposes to reassign students during construction of new facilities. Students from Sego Middle School and Wheeless Road Elementary School will be reassigned and attendance zones will be modified, potentially as listed below in Tables 2A and 2B. Table 1 demonstrates the proposed use of each affected building. For the full public hearing notice, click here.

New facilities and/or expansion of existing facilities are proposed as part of some of these relocations and reassignments while old facilities are demolished and new facilities are constructed. Attendance lines will be redrawn for some of the receiving schools and their adjacent schools in order to accommodate the relocated students within each existing school’s capacity limits.
